Empowering the voices of Europe’s youth of color. The Inclusivity Initiative Europe strives to create a space and outlet for European youth of color's voices to be heard and to work towards fostering inclusive and diverse societies collaboratively.
OUR MISSION
Racism is a daily occurrence and is deeply integrated into daily life in many European countries. Such challenges daily can affect mental well-being and perception of own self-worth. These experiences can have great impact on youth growing up in European countries, and is the reason for a. needed change. IIEU strives to find solutions in order to create an inclusive and diverse Europe.
Our goal is to work collaboratively to address pressing topics and issue, while connecting European youth with one another in order to foster an accepting and inviting climate. Additionally, we hope to create resources teens all over Europe can utilize when facing adversities.
We are first launching this initiative with the aim to connect with other European teens that share a deep commitment to combating racism. Through finding a group of passionate individuals, we hope to move through our action plan to make change.

About Us
Vera Hye-Yeon Kim
Vera Kim, the founder of IIEU is a 17 year old high schooler born and raised in Germany. As an Asian person, she has faced countless instances of racism growing up in the German society. In 2021, she decided to continue her high school education at a boarding school in the United States. There, she is heavily involved in her community and has participated in SDLC, the Student Inclusion Committee at her school, and as a leader of the Southeast/East Asian Student Union. Through these experiences, she has discovered a varying degree of inclusivity within the society she has been going to school in for the past three years, and the one she grew up in. She hopes to apply the sentiments of DEI she acquired in the U.S.,within the European countries as well, as she has faced countless of challenges and struggles regarding the acceptance of her identity growing up.
